Jonnes, LLC is the primary business entity for Peter Jonnes and his business ventures. A life-long entrepreneur, Peter has enjoyed pursuing professional opportunities and overcoming new challenges. Starting in high school, Peter offered computer support to local customers. This required a database of device drivers so with self-taught knowledge of web languages, he launched his first business TotallyDrivers.com. The website was the catalyst for his enduring love of business, technology, and marketing.
Over the next few years TotallyDrivers.com grew to one of the largest device driver and pc support sites which he operated from his college dorm room. While in college, he also started a separate web consulting business. The consulting business provided web design, development and marketing services to small businesses.
After graduating from Penn State, he entered the job market working as a Web and CRM Developer. Within a year, Peter and a business partner started Protos Marketing, an affiliate marketing and web development business. At this point there were too few hours in the day as Peter was working a full-time job, operating TotallyDrivers.com, providing consulting services and building Protos. Peter discontinued consulting services and sold TotallyDrivers.com to a software company. Protos quickly found success and 6 months later, he quit his job to focus solely on Protos Marketing.
Protos quickly grew from a small at-home business to a multi-national company headquartered in Costa Rica, with over 50 employees, and customers in dozens of countries. As a small business owner, he has worn many hats including COO, CTO, and CMO. After 8 years of running the business (4 of those years living abroad in Costa Rica and the Cayman Islands), Peter left the company to move back to the United States. He restarted his consulting business as Aileron Marketing.
In 2012, he joined FortuneBuilders as the Director of Marketing IT. In this role he built the communications team overseeing the design, development, and management of all the web properties for the company. This includes a variety of responsibilities including CRO, A/B Testing, SEO, Analytics, Data Management, Content Management, Landing Pages, Kajabi and CMS.
Peter has also explored other business opportunities. In 2016, he launched the real estate investment company GoodProperties.com with properties located in Virginia, California, and Costa Rica. In 2020, he started Lift Bridge Woodworks, a home business making custom furniture and decor, and an outlet away from technology.
